This paper concerns the interval estimation of the difference and ratio of population medians for two independent lognormal distributions by using a known coefficient of variation. The method used is based on the standard approach. Using only sample information, the difference, and the ratio of two lognormal medians which had been calculated got compared through an empirical simulation study. As is shown, an estimator with an outperformance can be obtained by utilizing a coefficient of variation (CV) not greater than 0.50.
