Mould mixes for foundry production were based on technogenic raw material from Kovdor Mining and Processing Plant, namely forsterite. Currently, the use of inorganic binders, such as magnesium phosphate is associated not only with high performance, but also with improved working conditions due to the absence of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, condensates and odors, as well as thermal stability. The grain composition of the charge was selected, the ratio of filler and binder was found to improve the structural properties of the molding mixture, the effect of the amount of time of heating and cooling on the technical properties was shown. The graphical dependence of sample strength, density, and volume changes on charge fractional composition and heat treatment time is presented. Recycling of Kovdor’s Mining and Processing Plant waste will eliminate a source of environmental pollution and restore the land occupied by them.
