This study explores methods to improve the mechanical properties of compressed earth blocks (CEBs) focusing on wet granular correction. We investigated how wet and dry granular corrections influence the compressive strength of CEBs. The results were compared to those obtained through cement stabilization. The results show that wet granular correction significantly improves the compressive strength of CEBs compared to dry correction, reaching a strength equivalent to the one obtained with 4.8% cement content. This method is therefore promising for optimizing the performance of CEBs while reducing cement use, in line with a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach. Further research is recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of this method on other types of soils with alternative binders to cement.
