PERIODICITY AND STABILITY FOR NEUTRAL SICNNs WITH DISTRIBUTED LEAKAGE DELAYS

In this paper, through the use of the continuation theorem in coincidence degree theory and inequality techniques, we establish some conditions ensuring the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) with distributed leakage delays and neutral time-varying delays. The main innovation of this paper is to consider the influence of neutral delay and distributed leakage delay on the periodicity of neural networks at the same time. The obtained results complement some previous works. Moreover, we present an illustrative example with its numerical simulation to further demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed criterion.
